Forestpedia is an encyclopedia documenting concepts and elements that made up a Club Penguin Forest roleplaying group, commonly referred to as "The Forest", after the Club Penguin room that the members of it would frequent. The group gained prominence within the early-to-mid 2010s, although some members claim it originated in the late-2000s. One of the trademarks of the group was the "Black Superhero Mask" item and its variants that a majority of members would wear, though not all members necessarily wore a mask.

The majority of settings, characters, and move sets were inspired by pop culture from the time period, such as Warrior Cats, Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, Adventure Time, and The Hunger Games. The roleplay's genre was primarily shounen anime-styled combat, with some teen romance drama. Most characters had their own set of elemental powers or supernatural abilities. Common character archetypes were nekos, kitsune, demons, and wolves.

Subsections and factions existed within the overall group. Typically, these inner groups would affiliate themselves with a server to be their homebase of operations; some examples of Forest-affiliated servers being Abominable, Blizzard, Sled, Mammoth, and Frosty.

Due to Club Penguin's filters increasingly becoming more and more restrictive, the group developed its own roleplay lingo to get around blocked words. This lingo would typically be the syllables of a blocked word or a similar-sounding word. For example, "lunches" to mean punches, "ticks" to mean kicks, "den mon" to mean demon, etc. Roleplay also took place off-Club Penguin as a result, through platforms such as CPPSme, Kik, Xat, Quotev, Penguin Lodge, and Skype; though Club Penguin remained the main platform until its closure in 2017. However, by the time of Club Penguin's closure, a large majority of Forest members had already quit the group entirely.
